Work and guide Relationship Officers (ROs) in their role to grow asset and liability portfolios, ensure quality booking and support bank strategic planning in line with retail lending and deposit growth. Establish, retain, and manage end-to-end business relationships with Employers and branches for business growth and profitability. Design action plans and capacity building for ROs and ensure smooth execution of the same across the network.
Responsibilities
- Grow and Manage retail personal loan and liabilities (deposit) portfolio as per annually set budgets and targets.
- Develop, manage and maintain a strategical relationship with employers and other business partners to ensure growth of loans book, more sales and retention is achieved.
- Implement annual action plan and KPI in relation with bank strategies for the segment and ensure execution by Relationship officers and branches.
- Implement Business activities based on approved budget and bank standard at desired level.
- Proactively nurture and ensure sustainable relationship management internally and externally
- Ensure delivery of strategic bank plan to the require standard in order to enhance business growth and maintain sustainable relationship with stakeholders.
- Conduct business/sales discussion and negotiation in order to generate relevant business with Employer and prepare business proposal for decision making to relevant approving Authority.
- Manage segment portfolio and revenue with key focus to increase profitability.
- Support Head of Business & Co-operative Banking to focus on future market trends and translate the same into key business focus on employee banking.
- Ensure full sales support by visiting employer with branches sales team.
- Capacity Building to enhance growth and quality portfolio.
- Monitoring and review of branch performance ensure targets are achieved and portfolio quality is maintained.
- Review employer performance on regular basis to understand their challenges and advice branches accordingly
- Work with Credit Unit on policies and procedures ensure that they accommodate the dynamic business environment
- Work with other Units to deliver leads and business pipelines from the market.
- Ensure high level of integrity and compliance on credit policies and procedures by Relationship officers.
- Prepare unit report to management on segment performance.
- Be an effective agent of change and role model for Relationship officers and Branch network
- Support Relationship Officers through coaching and coordination.
- Prepare and participate in quarterly fresher training of Relationship Officers.
- Ensure high level of integrity through compliance, understanding of the loan book, credit policy, and the procedures by Relationship Officers.
Requirements
- University Degree or equivalent Advanced Diploma preferably in Business Administration, Banking, Accounting, Finance or any Business-related field.
Experience Required
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the Banking with proven strong interpersonal skills.
